A Zed and Two Noughts
A friend told me to watch A Zed and Two Noughts a long time ago and I finally watched it. I really enjoyed it because it reminded me of Seijun Suzuki's (my favorite director) surrealism (albeit with a more fleshed out story). The twins' obsession with decay and rot was really interesting and made me wonder about director Peter Greenway's personal neuroses. Oh, and I thought the music really made the movie work.
Interestingly enough, there is a dead cat decomposing near my block, I pass it daily when I go on walks...
